Operating model and services

A PLATFORM UNDER DEVELOPMENT

Bring your technology to Halli.

UAS Halli is developing a testing and development platform where companies and research organisations can bring their own technology for testing, further development and demonstration.

The aim is to connect test areas, airspace, infrastructure, data and local expertise around each project’s needs. Technologies may include unmanned aircraft, sensors, communications systems and autonomous solutions.

One point of contact helps coordinate requirements, partners and operating arrangements. The platform and services are being developed in stages; availability and test-specific conditions are confirmed together before implementation.

Ways to use the environment

Testing and development

Bring your technology for a focused test, a development project or a series of tests. Objectives, test areas, data collection and operating arrangements are agreed together.

Demonstrations

Demonstrate how your technology works in a practical environment. Demonstrations can support product development, partner cooperation and the presentation of results.

Customer and presentation events

Organise a customer visit, a technology presentation or an invitation-only event. Demonstrations, discussions and local meeting and catering services can be combined to suit the group.

Activities are planned case by case according to available facilities, safety requirements and the necessary approvals. Contact us with your objectives, group size and preferred schedule.

Fast Track – a clear path to testing

One point of contact brings together the requirements, people and arrangements needed. The FAST and FLEX pathways are selected according to the proposed test.

Fast Track: define the objective, assess suitability, choose FAST or FLEX, plan execution, run the agreed test and review results. The original diagram is in Finnish.

Fast Track: a clear path to testing

The operating model is being developed to make preparation, permissions and launch as straightforward as possible.

FAST / predefined tests

For lightweight tests that fit established procedures. Requirements are checked before any test is confirmed.

FLEX / tailored testing

For tests requiring specific airspace, infrastructure, safety arrangements or official procedures. The pathway is planned together with the testing team and relevant partners.

  1. Define your objective

What do you want to validate and with which system?

  2. Assess suitability

Review area, resources, timing and the FAST or FLEX pathway.

  3. Plan execution

Agree the test plan, responsibilities, safety, data and required permissions.

  4. Run the agreed test

Testing begins only when prerequisites and agreements are confirmed.

  5. Evaluate results

Review findings and agree the next development step.

What is agreed before testing?

  • Objectives, success criteria and scope
  • Access rights, responsibilities, safety and required permissions
  • Data ownership, confidentiality and use of results
  • Schedule, resources, costs and stop procedures
